The Centre has notified the appointment of 3 Additional Judges of the Calcutta High Court as permanent judges.
They are:
- Justice Shampa Sarkar
- Justice Ravi Krishan Kapur
- Justice Arindam Mukherjee
They were appointed as Additional Judges on March 12, 2018.
Their appointments will take effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended them to be made permanent vide resolution dated January 15, 2020.
