Advocate Amit Rana has been elected Chairperson of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.

Rana is currently serving as Senior Deputy Advocate General of Punjab.

Advocate Sharmila Sharma has been elected Vice-Chairperson, while Advocate Karanjit Singh has been elected as a Member of the Bar Council of India.

The nomination process concluded on October 10. Polling was held, and the results were declared on October 11 under the supervision of Shri Maninderjit Singh Bedi, Advocate General of Punjab.
