The Central Government has notified the appointment four Judicial Officers as Additional Judges of the Allahabad High Court and one Advocate as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The following Judicial Officers have been elevated as Additional Judges to the Allahabad HC, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years:
- Sanjay Kumar Pachori (District & Sessions Judge, Bareilly)
- Subhash Chandra Sharma (Presiding Officer, Land Acquisition, Rehab & Resettlement Auth., Kanpur Nagar)
- Subhash Chand (District & Sessions Judge, Farrukhabad)
- Saroj Yadav (Director, Institute of Judicial Training & Research, Lucknow)
The SC Collegium had recommended the same in its meeting dated August 14, 2020.
Further, Advocate Rajesh Bhardwaj has been appointed as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana HC, for a period of two years.
