The Supreme Court collegium has recommended Advocates Anjani Kumar Sharan, Anil Kumar Sinha, Prabhat Kumar Singh and Partha Sarthy for appointment as Patna High Court Judges.

The Collegium comprising of CJI Ranjan Gogoi, Justice SA Bobde and Justice NV Ramana has also recommended two Judicial officers Abhay Chaturvedi and Narendra Singh Dhaddha as Rajasthan High Court judges.

The Rajasthan High Court collegium had also recommended Judicial officers Chandra Kumar Songara, Devendra Kachhawaha, Satish Kumar Sharma, Prabha Sharma, Manoj Kumar Vyas, Rameshwar Vyas, Devendra Joshi, Anoop Kumar Saxena and Shri Hemant Kumar Jain. However, SC collegium has deferred these proposals. It said that these names (except that of Chandra Kumar Songara), would be considered after receipt of detailed information from the Department of Justice in respect of certain unconfirmed inputs pointed out in the file.

As regards the proposal by the Patna High Court Collegium to elevate Advocates Rajendra Kumar Giri, and Vikash Kumar, the Collegium remitted it to the High Court.
