The District and Sessions Judge, Ramanagra on Wednesday issued non bailable warrant against, Swamy,Nithyanandaswamy @ Rajashekaran who is accused in an alleged rape case.
The warrant was issued on the application filed by COD Police, which is probing the case, it is prayed that by virtue of the orders dated 05.02.2020 passed by the High Court of Karnataka, the order of bail granted in favour of Nityananda, having been cancelled, orders to issue NBW, against him be issued, so as to procure him before this trial court.
The court passed the following order "That the personal bond executed by accused No.1 is hereby forfeited and office to issue NBW as against accused No.1 besides registering a separate case for recovery of personal bond amount as against A1 (Nityananda). The next date of hearing is March 3.
In the high court, police had informed the court that Nityananda is not available in India as he is on a Spiritual tour.
