The Central Government has notified the appointment of 5 Additional Judges of the Kerala High Court as permanent Judges of that High Court. The Central Government has notified the appointment of 5 Additional Judges of the Kerala High Court as permanent Judges of that High Court. They are:

  • Justice Conrad Stansilaus Dias
  • Justice Pulleri Vadhyarillath Kunhikrishnan
  • Justice Thirumuppath Raghavan Ravi
  • Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas
  • Justice Gopinath Puzhankara

Justice CS Dias was enrolled as an Advocate in 1993 and he practiced in Kerala. He served as Central Government Counsel for the Ministry of Railway, Central Government Notary Public and Standing Counsel for Indian Oil Corporation. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court for a period of 2 years with effect from November 18, 2019.

Justice PV Kunhikrishnan was enrolled as an Advocate in December 1989. He served as a Standing Counsel for Kerala State Electricity Board, State Cashew Development Corporation, Kozhikode Corporation, District Co-operative Bank, Kozhikode. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court for a period of 2 years with effect from February 13, 2020.

Justice TR Ravi was enrolled as an Advocate in 1989. He served as Standing Counsel in the High Court of Kerala for State Government and various other organisations. He was appointed as Additional Judge, Kerala High Court for a period of 2 years with effect from March 6, 2020.

Justice Bechu K Thomas was enrolled as an Advocate in 1992. He was Standing Counsel for Kerala University. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court for a period of 2 years with effect from March 6, 2020.

Justice Gopinath was enrolled as an Advocate in 1996. He was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Kerala High Court in December 2018. He served as Central Government Standing Counsel in the High Court of Kerala and as Senior Standing Counsel from the Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC). He was appointed as Additional Judge, Kerala High Court for a period of 2 years with effect from March 6, 2020.
