The President of India has made three appointments to the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) for its Srinagar and Jammu benches respectively. Senior Advocates Mir Syed Latif, Rajinder Singh Dogra, and Sanjeev Gupta, District Judge, have been chosen as Judicial Members for these important positions.

As per the official order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the appointments are effective for a duration of four years, starting from the date they assume office or until the age of 67, whichever event occurs earlier.

The terms and conditions governing their appointment as Judicial Members will be strictly governed as per the stipulations outlined in the Tribunals Reforms Act of 2021, including any subsequent amendments.

They have been instructed to take up the responsibilities within a period of 30 days.
