The Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority (RSLSA), under the supervision of Hari Om Attri, Member Secretary, RSLSA, organised a “Free Health Check-up Camp for Women” on the occasion of Mother's Day at Central Park, C-Scheme, Jaipur, in an initiative dedicated to women's health, wellbeing and awareness.

The programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Prerna Sharma as the Chief Guest along with Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, Acting Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court and Executive Chairman, RSLSA.

The programme assumed significance with the participation of the Acting Chief Justice's wife and the spouses of Judges of the Rajasthan High Court, who joined legal services institutions in promoting women's health, wellbeing and social awareness on the occasion of Mother's Day.

Organised under the guidance of Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, the programme reflected a people-centric and socially responsive approach towards community welfare initiatives.

The primary objective of the health camp was to promote awareness regarding preventive healthcare among women and encourage timely medical consultation and diagnosis. The initiative aimed to make essential healthcare services more accessible while spreading awareness about regular health check-ups, early detection of diseases and overall physical wellbeing.

The event was attended by Judges of the Rajasthan High Court along with their spouses and mothers, District Judges of Jaipur District, Jaipur Metro-I and Jaipur Metro-II along with their spouses and mothers, Judicial Officers of Jaipur District, Jaipur Metro-I and Jaipur Metro-II along with their spouses and mothers, as well as officers and staff members of RSLSA.

During the programme, free medical consultations and health check-ups were conducted by experienced doctors and healthcare professionals in specialised fields including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dental care, gynaecology and general health examination.

Women attending the camp were provided medical guidance and counselling regarding nutrition, lifestyle management, preventive healthcare, bone and joint care, eye health, oral hygiene and women-specific medical concerns. The camp witnessed active participation and appreciation from attendees who benefitted from expert consultation and medical advice.

More than 1000 women and members of the public benefitted from the initiative, making the programme a significant community welfare outreach activity. The participation reflected growing awareness regarding preventive healthcare and public trust in RSLSA's initiatives.

The initiative also assumed significance as it was organised on the occasion of Mother's Day, symbolising care, gratitude and respect towards women and mothers. The programme highlighted the importance of prioritising women's health and wellbeing, particularly in view of the tendency of many women to neglect their own healthcare needs while fulfilling family and professional responsibilities.

The camp further reflected the evolving role of legal services institutions in addressing broader social concerns connected with human dignity, welfare and community empowerment. Through such initiatives, RSLSA continues to strengthen its outreach efforts by integrating social welfare measures with public awareness and engagement activities.
