Senior Advocate Devang Vyas on Wednesday resigned from the post of Additional Solicitor General (ASG) of both Bombay High Court as well as the Gujarat High Court.

Confirming the development to Live Law, Vyas said, "I have resigned from both the seats. I have been an ASG for the last 12 years in Gujarat and nearly 2 years in Bombay. It's been a long run and thus, I have resigned as a satisfied person."

Vyas further informed that he would be settling in Mumbai now and pursuing private practice.

"I can say that I would be settling in Mumbai now and will pursue my private practice since I have been an ASG for 12 years," Vyas said.

Notably, Vyas was given an additional charge as the ASG of Bombay High Court on July 21, 2023.
