Senior Advocate Vivek Subba Reddy has been re-elected as the President of the Advocates' Association of Bengaluru. The results were declared on late Sunday evening.

Reddy was declared winner securing a total of 6,820 votes while candidate Advocate A P Ranganatha received 4,518 votes.

Advocate Girish Kumar C S was elected to the post of Vice President of the Association. The post was created subsequent to directions of the Supreme Court.

The High power committee also declared Advocate Praveen Gowda H V as the winner for the post of Association General Secretary, with a total of 4,854 votes.

Advocate Shwetha Ravishankar was elected to the post of Treasurer with a total of 2,950 votes. This post was reserved for women candidates on direction issued by the Supreme Court.

The elections were conducted by a seven member High Power Committee(HPC). The tenure of the newly elected committee of the Association is for a period of three years.
