Centre Notifies Reappointment Of Senior Advocates Arvind Kamath, B Narsimha Sharma As ASGs For High Courts At Karnataka & Telangana

The Central Government on Thursday (September 24) notified the re-appointment of senior advocates Kuloor Arvind Kamath and B. Narsimha Sharma as Additional Solicitors General for India for Karnataka and Telangana High Courts respectively.
A notification issued by the Union Ministry of Law and Justice states:
"The President is pleased to re-appoint following Additional Solicitor General for India (ASGI) in the High Courts, for a further period of three years with effect from 17.10.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier:
1. Shri Kuloor Arvind Kamath ASGI for High Court of Karnataka at Bengaluru
2. Shri B. Narsimha Sharma ASGI for High Court of Telangana at Hyderabad"
As per the notification re-appointment is “for a further period of three years with effect from 17.10.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier”.
