Adv Prashant Bhushan: I am just seeking a gentle nudge to HC. It's been pending for more than 4 yrs.
CJI: Are you aware of pendency in that HC?
Bhushan: It's about appointment to higher judicial service. Requires priority
CJI: Incidentally such pleas filed only for Allahabad HC
Bhushan: Lots of vacancy and pendency there. A lot of time spent in just adjourning the matter. Your lordships may just gently nudge them to decide this matter quickly. Both petitioners passed written exams. They were disqualified over min. marks required in interview.
Order: Though we are not inclined to entertain this SLP, petitioners may approach HC to seek out of turn hearing
