In the wake of the COVID19 pandemic, the Executive Committee of Supreme Court Bar Association passed a resolution of Saturday urging the SC to declare vacation for four weeks from March 23.

The Association also suggested to adjust the lost dates in the forthcoming summer vacation.

Taking note of the outbreak of Coronavirus, the Supreme Court has been following restricted functioning since March 16, hearing only urgent matters. The Court has also adopted several precautionary measures to avoid overcrowding and enforce physical distancing between persons within court premises.
