Two committees of judicial officers have been constituted for better coordination with the Delhi government and inter se business in all districts.

A committee of five judicial officers has been constituted for better coordination with the Delhi government.

The committee is headed by district and sessions judge (headquarters) Talwant Singh. It also has Girish Kathpalia and AS Jayachandra, district & sessions judges of South and Shahdara, respectively, as its members.

Another committee for inter se transaction of business among various districts has also been formed under the chair of Talwant Singh.

It comprises 11 members with the heads of all districts on it. This committee will meet every month and all members are required to send in their agendas beforehand.

The committees come as a step towards efficient judicial administration. The high court under acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal has been putting special emphasis on an efficient and able judicial administration, and the functioning of the high court and the subordinate courts.
