Bhartiya Mahila Bank invites application for the post of Senior Manager (Legal) for providing support in legal administration to both to corporate and field functionaries and follow up of cases filed by and against the Bank and other aspects of law relevant to Banking business; Drafting and vetting the Documents from legal perspective and providing legal support for documentation; Assisting in dealing with legal aspects of issues relating to premises, service matters etc. Providing comprehensive instructions/briefing to counsel in connection with litigation involving the Bank; Managing Bank's litigation process before various forums; Ensuring legal compliances as per RBI guidelines and other applicable prevalent laws in force; Assisting in implementation of Right to Information (RTI) Act, managing claims against the Bank before Courts and Consumer Forums, Banking Ombudsman etc,; Assisting the bank in fraud cases; Submission of periodic reports on all aspects of the portfolio.

Qualification: Graduation with LLB / LLB (5 Years Course)
Work Experience: Enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council and 3 years experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and/ or 5 years as a Law Officer in the Legal Dept. of a Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Private Sector Bank/ Financial Institution/ Central/ State Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking. Candidates should produce a certificate of having the requisite post qualification work experience from the Court/ bar council/ organization.
