Delhi University notifies LL.B / LL.M Admissions 2015-15

The notification for the Entrance Examination for LL.B (Three years) and LL.M (Two year and three year) course has been released. The admission to LL.B. and LL.M. course shall be made on the basis of merit in the LL.B. /LL.M. Entrance Test 2015.

Admission to LL.B. Course

Eligibility

The applicant who has graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a University established by an Act of Parliament or by a State legislature or an equivalent national institution recognized as a deemed to be University or foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare equivalence may apply for the course.

Minimum Marks in qualifying examination for admission

Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 50% [45% in case of OBC, 40% in case of SC/ST] marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate in either of them.

Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to widows/wards of ex-servicemen/serving personnel (CW) category.

Relaxation of up to 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to the candidates belonging to physically handicapped (PH) category on the recommendations of the Medical Board as per the prescribed procedure.

Day & Date of Entrance Test: 07 June 2015, Sunday at 09:30 A.M.

Admission to LL.M. Course

The admission to LL.M. course shall be made on the basis of merit in the LL.M. Entrance Test 2015.

For General category and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, a three-year/five-year LL.B. Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate for Two-Year/Three-Year Course LLM, 45% marks in case of SC/ST Candidates.

How to Apply: Applications for LL.B. /LL.M. admission 2015-16 is submitted by online registration mode only.

Last Date for submission of online applications: 30th April, 2015.

The result of the Entrance Test shall be notified on the University website  and may be displayed on the Notice Board of the Admission Committee, Faculty of Law. All notices relating to admission, counseling, etc. shall be displayed only on the Notice Board of the Admission Committee, Faculty of Law.
