'Project Jeevandan' - A Novel Initiative By The Legal Aid Cell Of Dharmashastra National Law University

Ever since its inception Vidhi Mitra, the legal aid cell of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur has been an active body, which continuously has been working to bring consonance between the spirit of the law and the practicalities of social realities. The aim of community outreach has been a prime objective of the Cell, and the Cell has been continuously working to achieve it. The Cell attempts to achieve its objective by means of holding frequent social awareness camps, conducting socio-legal surveys, conducting 'Nukkad Nataks', providing legal literacy and providing pro-bono legal services.

DNLU's PROJECT JEEVANDAN 

Project Jeevandan is novel initiative of Vidhi Mitra, the Legal Aid Cell of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur. It is a Blood Donation Repository Project which aims to provide help to those in need of blood. Owing to the Covid pandemic, it is very well known that the health care system is under immense pressure. In these trying times, this initiative of DNLU gives an opportunity for everyone to contribute to the society and help save lives.

It provides a means of communication between blood donors and seekers Pan-Madhya Pradesh. Any eligible blood donor who wishes to donate blood can provide the necessary details including name, age, blood group etc. through a Google form given below.

The database, so created will help locate the eligible blood donor as and when needed. All the personal information provided would be stored with utmost privacy and safety.
