The Judicial Academy, Jharkhand has announced that all future trainings, conferences, and workshops conducted by the Academy will henceforth be organised through online mode until further directions.

According to the announcement, the decision has been taken pursuant to directions of the Jharkhand High Court and is also in consonance with the appeal made by the Prime Minister of India for fuel conservation amid the prevailing global energy crisis.

The Academy stated that the initiative marks a significant step towards digital transformation in judicial education and capacity building, and reflects its commitment to technology-driven learning systems for the judiciary.

Under the new arrangement, judicial officers and staff nominated for various programmes will no longer be required to physically report to the Judicial Academy at Ranchi. Instead, they will participate remotely from their respective places of work through digital platforms.

The Academy stated that necessary joining links, schedules, and online training protocols will be communicated to participants in advance.

It further noted that the transition from physical classroom-based programmes to virtual platforms aims to ensure greater accessibility, efficiency, continuity, and resource conservation in judicial training across the State.

According to the Academy, the move is expected to enhance convenience, optimise institutional resources, and strengthen outreach while maintaining the quality and effectiveness of judicial training programmes.
