The Central Government of Monday (January 5) notified the appointment of four advocates as judges of Patna, Allahabad and Uttarakhand High Courts. 

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal took to X (formerly Twitter) to notify the appointments. 

The appointees are : 

1. Advocates Ritesh Kumar and Praveen Kumar have been appointed as judges of Patna High Court. 

2. Advocate Jai Krishna Upadhyay has been appointed as a judge of Allahabad High Court.

3. Advocate Siddartha Shah has been appointed as an additional judge of Uttarakhand High Court.
