The Central Government has notified the appointment of two advocates as Additional Judges of the Madras High Court.

The Four advocates are:

  1. Harinath Nunepally;
  2. Kiranmayee Mandava (Kiranmayee Kanaparthy);
  3. Sumathi Jagadam; and
  4. Nyapathy Vijay.

Earlier this month, the Supreme Court recommended the above four names of four Advocates as the Judges of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.

In its resolution dated October 10, 2023, the Collegium stated that the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court had recommended the lawyers in consultation with his two senior-most colleagues, and that the Chief Minister and the Governor of the State of Andhra Pradesh had also concurred with the recommendation.
