Centre Notifies Appointment Of Justice P Sam Koshy As Acting Chief Justice Of Telangana High Court

The Central Government on Monday (October 5) notified the appointment of Justice P Sam Koshy as Acting Chief Justice of Telangana High Court.
This, after the elevation of outgoing Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh as a judge of the Supreme Court was announced earlier today.
A notification issued by the Union Ministry of Law and Justice states:
"In exercise of the power conferred by Article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Puthichira Sam Koshy, Judge of the Telangana High Court as Acting Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from the date Shri Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh relinquishes the charge of the office of Chief Justice consequent upon his elevation as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India"
Earlier today the Central government notified the elevation Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh as a judge of the Supreme Court.
