Essential Qualification and Experience

  • Any graduation degree + LL.B. is mandate, LLM, CS or other equivalent certification relevant to Compliance.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to interpret legislation and translate legal provisions into operational guidance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to track and analyze regulatory developments and provide timely updates.
  • Knowledge/Experience in Compliance domain of 3+ year.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance advisory engagements with support from the team, ensuring adherence to internal engagement SOPs and quality standards.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the compliance tool and contribute to its functional enhancement based on client and user experience.
  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of engagement deliverables to effectively interact with clients, including compliance audit draft reports, Regulatory Management Manuals, and compliance frameworks.
  • Conduct compliance audits and gap assessments to evaluate adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide legal and regulatory advisory support across multi-sector industries, including pharmaceuticals, NBFCs, and heavy manufacturing.
  • Assist in strengthening compliance mechanisms and internal control systems to ensure ongoing adherence to applicable laws and regulations
  • Interpret and implement applicable central and state legislation to ensure comprehensive statutory and regulatory compliance aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including Labour laws, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), Finance and Taxation, and Corporate Secretarial requirements.
  • Support compliance planning and execution by translating legal requirements into practical business processes and internal controls.
  • Monitor and track upcoming regulatory updates and legislative changes within the Indian & Global regulatory environment and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance risks and ensure timely implementation of legal requirements.
  • Build familiarity with and contribute to internal engagement adherence and clearance processes for compliance engagements, as required.
  • Support team administration, mentoring, and knowledge sharing, and contribute to maintaining a cohesive and positive team environment.
