Essential Qualification and Experience

Joint Director

  • Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administrations or autonomous bodies or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings or recognised Universities or recognised research institutions: (a) (i) holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) five years' service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level 11 in the pay matrix (Rs. 67700- 208700) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
  • Master of Laws or Social Science (Political Science or Sociology or Social Work or Economics or Human Rights or Psychology or Population Studies or Criminology) or Statistics from a recognised University or recognised institute; and Five years' research experience in Social Science or Statistics.

Assistant Registrar

  • Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administrations or autonomous bodies or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings or recognised Universities or recognised research institutions: (a) (i) holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) with eight years' service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in level 8 in the pay matrix (Rs. 47600-151100) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
  • Bachelor's degree with Law from a recognised University or recognised institute.

Research Officer

  • Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administrations or autonomous bodies or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings or recognised Universities or recognised research institutions: (a) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; and
  • Master's degree with Social Science from a recognised University or recognised institute.
  • Desirable: Bachelor's degree with Law from a recognised University or recognised institute; and Three years' research experience in any of the social sciences.

Inspector

  • Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administrations; (a) (i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) with five years service rendered after appointment to the post (as Sub-Inspector) on a regular basis in level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs.35400-112400) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised University or recognised institute; and With five years' experience in vigilance or investigation or intelligence work.
  • Desirable: Bachelor's degree with Law from a recognised University or recognised institute.
