NLSIU invites online applications for the post of Project Coordinator, Training Manager, Content Lead, and Project Associates in its new Training Programme in collaboration with the Bengaluru City Police (BCP).

Essential Qualification and Experience

Project Coordinator

• LLB degree or graduate degree in the social sciences or humanities.

• At least 7 years of post-qualification experience overall, including at least 4 years of relevant work experience in the project sector (e.g. criminal justice, gender sensitization, or police training)

• Ability to build and lead a team, and establish effective working relations with a range of stakeholders, including government officials, CSOs and other partners.

• Strong project management skills

• Candidates with experience in designing and executing large-scale training programmes will be preferred.

• Candidates with advanced degrees will be preferred.

Training Manager

• LLB degree or graduate degree in the social sciences or humanities.

• 4+ years of post-qualification experience. Candidates with relevant work experience in gender-related training will be preferred

• Experience in working with a variety of stakeholders in the execution of a programme.

• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

• Candidates with reading, writing and speaking knowledge of Kannada will be preferred.

• Candidates with advanced degrees will be preferred.

Content Lead

• LLB degree

• 4+ years of post-qualification experience. Candidates with relevant work experience in the project sector (e.g. criminal justice, gender sensitisation, or police training) will be preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

• Strong reporting and writing abilities.

• Candidates with advanced degrees will be preferred.

Project Associates

• LLB degree or graduate degree in the social sciences or humanities.

• 0-3 years of post-qualification experience. Candidates with relevant work experience in the project sector (e.g. criminal justice, gender sensitisation, or police training) will be preferred.

• Experience in working with a variety of stakeholders in the execution of a programme.

• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

• Strong reporting and writing abilities.

• Candidates with reading, writing and speaking knowledge of Kannada will be preferred.
