Nirma University Invites Papers For Journal Of Centre For Environmental Law On “Law, Technology And Environment”
The Centre for Environmental Law, Institute of Law, Nirma University, invites original submissions for Volume III, Issue 1 of the Journal of Centre for Environmental Law. The Journal is a biannual, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to research and academic discourse in environmental law and related fields.
The theme of the issue is “Law, Technology and Environment”, focusing on the growing relationship between technological developments, environmental regulation and legal governance. The issue welcomes research on emerging legal questions, regulatory challenges and interdisciplinary approaches to environmental governance.
Suggested areas include Artificial Intelligence and Environmental Governance; Digital Technologies and Environmental Monitoring; Technology, Climate Change and Energy Transition; Emerging Technologies and Environmental Liability; Data, Privacy and Environmental Regulation; and Technology, Sustainable Development and Environmental Justice. The suggested sub-themes are not exhaustive.
Submissions are invited in the form of Full-Length Articles, Research Notes and Book Reviews. The submission deadline is 30th November 2026, with expected publication in January 2027. Submissions must comply with the Journal's originality, anonymity, formatting and AI policy and follow OSCOLA (4th Edition) citation style.
