The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), located in Kochi, Kerala, is a distinguished institution for legal education in India. About CCI

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is the statutory body entrusted with safeguarding competition and regulating market practices in India. Constituted under the Competition Act, 2002, the CCI seeks to ensure a competitive economic environment in which businesses can compete freely and consumers benefit from competitive markets. It addresses practices such as cartels, abuse of dominant position, and collusive tendering, while also scrutinising mergers, acquisitions, and other combinations that may adversely affect competition. Through its regulatory, investigative, and advocacy functions, the CCI promotes market efficiency, innovation, fair pricing, and consumer welfare.

About CCLP

The Centre for Competition Law and Policy (CCLP) at NUALS focuses on research and study of competition law and policy. It aims to promote competition, encourage efficient resource allocation, and address the abuse of market power. The Centre seeks to disseminate ideas and facilitate research through a network of regulators, academicians, practitioners, industry experts, and students. It also undertakes capacity-building initiatives and provides students with opportunities to interact with experts in the developing field of competition law.

Registration Details

Stage I Registration Fee: INR 2,500/- per team, (inclusive of tax)

Registration will be considered complete only upon submission of the Registration Form and payment of the registration fee. Teams qualifying for the Semi-Final Rounds will receive the Stage II Registration Link and Payment Link separately through their registered email IDs.

Stage II Registration Fee: INR 4,500/- per team, (inclusive of tax)

The registration fee is non-refundable except where otherwise decided by the Organising Committee.
