The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, in collaboration with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, Markanda Advocates, the Justice KP Bhandari Foundation, Manupatra and LiveLaw, will organise the 6th edition of the RGNUL National Negotiation Competition, 2026, in hybrid format. The virtual preliminary rounds will be held on 25th October 2026, and the advanced rounds will be held on campus from 21st to 22nd November 2026. Running since 2021, The Negotiation Competition is one of India's premier competitions in the field of negotiation, pitting the best budding ADR enthusiasts against. Its recent editions drew participation from more than twenty-four universities across the country.

This edition will have multiple preliminary rounds, followed by quarter-final, semi-final and final rounds. Each team will have two members, one client and one counsel. Both members must play both roles during the preliminary rounds. Universities wishing to send more than one team must express their intention to CADR. A second slot depends on the number of slots available with the Centre. CADR-RGNUL has sole discretion over slot allocation, and its decision will be final and binding.
