Centre For Public Policy & Good Governance, DBRANLU Announces National Policy Drafting Presentation Competition

The Centre for Public Policy & Good Governance (CPPGG) at DBRANLU is dedicated to advancing evidence-based policymaking, institutional integrity, and good governance practices. Under the leadership of eminent jurists and academic experts, the Centre regularly conducts conferences, capacity-building workshops, and policy-driven national events.

Ladli Foundation, an internationally recognised NGO acknowledged by the United Nations, works extensively across gender equity, social protection, youth empowerment, and community resilience. Its collaboration strengthens the social-impact dimension of the competition.

About the Event

In order to celebrate the 76 years of India's Constitutional journey and the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, DBRANLU's CPPGG announces the National Policy Drafting & Presentation Competition 2025.

This competition aims to encourage students to propose innovative, research-driven, and actionable policy solutions addressing contemporary governance challenges.
Theme: “Embedding Sustainability: Policy Pathways for ESG Governance and Green Finance”
Illustrative sub-themes include ESG accountability, climate-risk disclosure, green financing frameworks, anti-greenwashing regulation, technological innovation, and more.

Team Composition & Eligibility

• Open to all UG and PG students from any discipline across recognised institutions.
• Participants may register:
• Individually, or
• In a team of two (cross-institutional teams permitted).

Structure of the Competition

Stage 1: Registration & Policy Submission (Online)

• Submission of an original policy draft (3000–3500 words).
• Evaluation based on research depth, innovation, feasibility, and adherence to guidelines.
• Top 10 teams will be shortlisted for the presentation round.

Stage 2: Policy Presentation (Hybrid)

• Shortlisted teams will present before a distinguished panel.
• 10-minute presentation + 5-minute Q&A.
• Winners will be announced on the same day.

How to Register

2. Upload the policy draft as instructed.
3. Pay the registration fee:
• Single Author: ₹300
• Co-author Team: ₹450
4. Confirmation email will be sent within 2–3 working days.

Prizes

• 1st Prize: ₹11,000
• 2nd Prize: ₹5,100
• 3rd Prize: ₹3,100
• Certificates of Merit for top performers; Participation Certificates for all valid entries.

• 01 December 2025: Announcement of shortlisted teams
• 05 December 2025: Policy Presentation & Final Results
• 06 December 2025: Prize Distribution
