KeLSA Invites Applications From Law Students For Internship Programme "Nyaya Praveshika" [Apply By April 15]

The Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KeLSA) is inviting applications from law students for its internship programme – Nyaya Praveshika, to be conducted in two batches for the periods from May 4 to May 29, 2026 and June 1 to June 24, 2026.

About the programme

The 21-day internship programme would include institutional visits, court attachments, research assignments, interactive sessions with judicial officers, senior advocates, legal services functionaries and work-shadowing activities.

At the end of the internship period, the participants would be awarded an internship certificate issued by KeLSA.

Deadline

The deadline to submit applications is 5:00 pm on 15 April 2026.

Eligibility

Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. course or a 5-year LL.B. course from any law college recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to apply.

Application Procedure

Interested students shall submit the Application Form (Annexure A1) duly filled and signed, along with the following enclosures:

  • A copy of the student identity card issued by the college; and
  • A Statement of Purpose (not exceeding 500 words) explaining their motivation for applying to the KeLSA Internship Programme.
  • A Curriculum Vitae (CV) not exceeding two pages.

The completed application, along with the required enclosures, shall be submitted via email to: kelsainternship@gmail.com

The subject line of the email should read: “Application - KeLSA Internship Programme 2026".

Selected Candidates

The list of selected candidates would be published on April 20, 2026 on the official notice board and the KeLSA website.

The offer letter would be emailed to the applicant and once offer letter is accepted, the selected candidate must report for the internship as scheduled.
