Moot Court Society Of GLC Thiruvananthapuram To Organize 17th All India Moot Court Competition, 2023

The Moot Court Society of Government Law College Thiruvananthapuram is organizing its 17th All India Moot Court Competition 2023, scheduled from 2nd-4th of February 2023. The competition will be held offline in the Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram campus. The competition will have the presence of students from national law schools, law universities and law colleges across India.

This event will be inaugurated by Justice Cyriac Joseph, Kerala Lok Ayukta, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India. The Presidential Address will be delivered by Dr. R. Bijukumar, Principal, Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. Other Chief Guests include Prof. Dr. N K Jayakumar, Former Vice Chancellor, NUALS, Prof. (Dr.) Bismi Gopalakrishnan, Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Kerala Professor, School of Indian Legal Thought, Kottayam The Valedictory Ceremony will be inaugurated by Hon'ble Justice K Babu, High Court of Kerala. The session will have the esteemed presence of Justice A Badharudeen, High Court of Kerala and Justice Viju Abraham, High Court of Kerala.

The race for the ever-rolling Justice V. R. Krishna Iyer trophy has been a prestigious event for the institution and the law students all over India, and this is the first offline moot held by the college since the covid pandemic ensued. The battleground of orators is all set to showcase skills in advocacy and everyone can be a part of it through YouTube live streaming, at the official YouTube channel of Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram.
