Retired from the Supreme Court on June 29, 2023, Justice Subramanian brings with him a wealth of experience, profound insight, and an unwavering commitment to the cause of justice. His joining as the head of the Centre for Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution marks a significant milestone for Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat.

Justice V.R. Subramanian, a legal luminary with a distinguished career spanning several decades has held prominent positions within the Indian judiciary. Over the years, Justice Subramanian has served with integrity and diligence in various capacities, starting as a Judge of the Madras High Court from July 31st, 2006, until April 26th, 2016. His tenure on the bench of the Telangana High Court, from April 27th, 2016, to June 21st, 2019, further solidified his reputation as a jurist of exceptional caliber. Subsequently, he assumed the esteemed role of Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court from June 22nd, 2019, to September 22nd, 2019, before his elevation to the Supreme Court. From September 23rd, 2019, to June 29th, 2023, Justice Subramanian served as a Judge of the Supreme Court, where his contributions left an indelible mark on the nation's legal landscape.
