The 7th GNLU Annual Legal Services Forum (GALSF 7.0) is the flagship initiative of the Legal Services Committee of Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, scheduled as a week-long Legal Services Week, culminating in the principal proceedings on 21st–22nd March 2026 at the GNLU campus. The Forum is premised on the theme “Artificial Intelligence for Access to Justice”, and endeavours to critically examine the role of emerging AI-driven technologies in democratising legal knowledge, reducing systemic delays, strengthening legal aid frameworks, and alleviating structural barriers that hinder vulnerable and marginalised communities from securing effective legal remedies.

Conceived as a national platform, GALSF 7.0 convenes Legal Aid and Services Committees, universities, non-governmental organisations, Legal Services Authorities, policymakers, jurists, technology experts, students, and practitioners from across India to foster dialogue, cooperation, and institution-building in the field of access to justice. Through its composite structure—comprising a Mediation Competition, Paper Presentation Competition, Round Table Discussion, Legislative Drafting Workshop, Abhivyakti Nukkad Nataks, Legal Quizzes, and the Lok Manch and Podcast series—the Forum integrates academic inquiry, skills-based capacity building, policy-oriented deliberation, and community outreach with the objective of advancing accessible, affordable, and technology-enabled legal services.
