NUJS Kolkata To Host Panel Discussion On India's Engagement With International Criminal Justice
The International Law Students Association Society (ILSA), West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata, is an academic society dedicated to fostering scholarly engagement and discussion on contemporary issues of international law.
The panel discussion, titled “How Can India Engage With International Criminal Justice In A Manner That Is Principled, Evidence-Based, Constitutionally Sound And Sensitive To Diplomatic Realities?”, will bring together experts to explore India's approach to international criminal justice from legal, constitutional, and diplomatic perspectives.
The discussion will explore the legal foundations of international criminal justice from a Global South perspective, India's domestic capacity regarding high seas law and war crimes, and victim-centered regional pathways to accountability in Asia.
