Ramaiah College Of Law To Host Ramaiah International Moot & ADR Conference (RIMAC 2026) On March 22
Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru will host the Ramaiah International Moot & ADR Conference (RIMAC 2026) on 22 March 2026 at Hilton Bengaluru, Embassy Manyata Business Park. The conference forms part of the inaugural edition of RIMAC and is organised around the theme “ADR for All: Strengthening Arbitration and Mediation Across India's Justice Landscape.”
The conference will feature five panel sessions bringing together members of the judiciary, policymakers, practitioners, and academics to examine key developments in arbitration and mediation and to discuss how ADR mechanisms can become more accessible and effective across India's justice system.
The sessions will address:
• Democratizing ADR: Expanding arbitration and mediation beyond urban commercial centres and strengthening grassroots dispute resolution.
• The Mediation Act, 2023 in Practice: Examining early implementation challenges and opportunities under the new legislative framework.
• Institutional ADR and Access to Justice: Exploring how arbitration institutions can expand access to MSMEs and district-level disputes.
• Technology and Online Dispute Resolution: Understanding the role of ODR and arbitration clause design in digital and platform-based contracts.
• ADR and Legal Education: Reimagining legal education to train ADR-ready professionals equipped for evolving dispute resolution practices.
The conference adopts a moderated panel format with expert discussions followed by interactive Q&A sessions, encouraging meaningful engagement between participants and leading voices in the field of dispute resolution.
