National Law University Delhi launches LL.M (Professional) 2017-18 Programme for Working Executives

The National Law University, Delhi established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 is a premier Law University established in the capital city of India. The University invites applications for admission to the LL.M (Professional) Programme for the Academic Year 2017-18 commencing from August, 2017. Eligibility, total seats and other details the programme are as under:

Eligibility: The LL.M. (Professional) Programme will be conducted through a mixed mode of distance education and contact learning. A person who has completed his/her graduation in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks, and has been in service or has had professional experience will be eligible to enrol for the programme.

LL.M Professional Programme 2017-18 will offer the students to specialize in one or more group of specialization as enumerated below:

  1. Criminology & Criminal Justice

  2. Banking & Financial Studies

  3. Intellectual Property

  4. Commercial Laws

  5. Environmental Laws and Justice

  6. Police Studies


The last date for submission of applications is 15th June 2017.

Total Seats: 160 Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.

Duration of the Programme: One year

Note: The objective of the LL.M. (Professional) Programme is to enrich academic excellence in professional services. Obtaining LL.M. (Professional) will not qualify a candidate for academic and other jobs that require a LL.M. Degree as minimum qualification. It will also not qualify a candidate to appear for the UGC’s National Eligibility Test or similar tests.

Candidates for admission will be selected on the basis of percentage secured in their graduation. The merit cut-off list will accordingly be prepared for admission.Interested candidates should apply online only on payment of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) for General Candidates, Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) for SC,ST and PwD excluding service charges along with copy of requisite Caste/PwD Certificate.
