'Distribute copies of Quran' - this was a condition imposed by a Magistrate Court in Ranchi, Jharkhand for granting bail to a woman who was arrested for hurting religious sentiments through a social media post.

The judicial magistrate Manish Singh allowed bail to the accused, Richa Bharti, while directing her to donate one copy of the religious text to Sadar Anjuman Islamia Committee and four copies to other libraries of various schools, reports the Times of India.

Bharti was arrested on a complaint by Sadar Anjuman Committee at Pithoriya near Ranchi over a post shared by her in Facebook regarding the lynching of Tabarez Ansari.

Bharti's lawyer Ramparvesh Singh said that the Court has directed her to produce  before it five receipts of distributing Quran within 15 days.
