The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the name of Justice Vipin Sanghi as the new Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court. Presently, Justice Sanghi is serving as the Acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court.
About Justice Vipin Sanghi
Justice Sanghi initially worked in the office of Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi. He was appointed as a Central Government Panel Advocate and functioned as such during the year1990-91. He was also appointed as Central Government Panel Lawyer in the Supreme Court of India.
Justice Sanghi was designated as Senior Advocate by the Delhi High Court in December, 2005. He was appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Delhi with effect from May 29, 2006 and confirmed as a Judge on 11th February, 2008.
