Kerala High Court has invited online applications from qualified candidates for appointment to the post of Munsiff-Magistrate (Scale of pay 27700 - 44770). Online applications can be submitted from 14.11.2017 onwards and no other means/modes of application will be accepted.

NCA Vacancies:



  • Scheduled Tribes: 1

  • Latin Catholics/Anglo Indians – 2 (Pursuant to Recruitment Notification Number 25/2017 and 26/2017).

  • Nadars included in SIUC - I

  • SC converts to Christianity - 1

  • Dheevaras - 1

  • Hindu Nadars – 1


Selection to these vacancies would be via the direct method and only candidates from the State of Kerala belonging to the notified communities can apply. For vacancies to the posts of Latin/ Catholics, Nadars included in SIUC, SC converts to Christianity, Dheevaras and Hindu Nadars, only candidates belonging to the non-creamy layer can apply.

Regular Vacancies

33 vacancies, plus 1 probable vacancies have been notified. The 1 probable vacancy is to be filled by a PWD candidate and has been carried forward from last year. The vacancies shall be filled by direct recruitment and recruitment by transfer.

The selection shall be after holding Preliminary and Main competitive examinations, consisting of a written examination and a viva-voce. These examinations will be common both NCA and regular vacancies.

Qualifications

These vacancies are open to citizens of India, holding a degree of law from an institution recognised by the BCI and not having attained the age of 35 years as on 01.0l1.17 (in the case of direct recruitment) and 54 years as on the last date fixed for closure of Step-II process of online filing of applications (in the case of recruitment by transfer).
