Court: After argying at some length, the counsel says he wishes to withdraw the petition with liberty to take legal recourse or legal remedy available to him under law. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.

Court: The genesis appears to be some call of an agitation / protest given by some individuals and groups. The prayers made are extracted hereinbelow. So far as prayers 1 and 2 made are concerned, a direction is sought directing the NIA or any specialized agency to investigate incident of July 20.

Sharma: My only minor flag of the issue was that since matter is coming up, in public law doctrine, your lordships issue notice for September . This could also de hors prayer 1,2 your lordships will have complete picture otherwise it will be a piecemeal view of seeing the entire thing.
