Hariharan: A pendrive is there. There are lathis, nails on to it by which children are beaten, pellets used, electric batons used to give electric current.

Singh: The assembly started swelling on 20th because of information which was in public domain of that march. It was that assembly which was attacked. Boys and girls from all family. Mr. Sanjay Hegde’s son was also there. Children from all walks of life. Doctors and paramedics staff all.

Singh: This gathering assembled for almost 20 days when Mr. Wangchuk had already declared that on 20th they will march to Parliament. It was well within knowledge. Uptil 20 no violence.

Hariharan: Bodily integrity of each student was also protected by Article 21. The State action if any would be tested under scrutiny of arbitrariness under Article 14. What followed is something unimaginable. This is situation where brutality to largest level is used. I am not saying that state didn’t have ability to regular movement or to channelise movement….

Hariharan: When protests started, protest was happening peacefully by group of students at jantar mantar. This gathering was exercising interconnected rights and freedoms under Constitution of India. The first freedom was freedom of assembly and political association
