Live Law is hiring for the position of correspondents for the following courts:

• Supreme Court

• Bombay High Court

• Gujarat High Court

• Madhya Pradesh High Court

Roles & Responsibilities

As a legal correspondent, you would be expected to keep track of all the developments from the courts and submit timely news reports after attending the hearings. You also have to keep track of the orders/judgments that are uploaded and make factual and concise reports as quickly as possible.

The duty includes writing breaking stories as well as in-depth stories explaining the intricacies of the legal questions and other matters pending before the court.

For a Supreme Court correspondent, the ability to live-tweet hearings is a must. High Court correspondents are also expected to live-tweet important matters of public interest.

It is a full-time job where you will be expected to remain abreast of all the latest happenings, both inside and outside courts. Since we are a digital medium, both speed and accuracy is a must.

Eligibility

Law Degree is necessary.

Freshers can also apply.

A person with prior writing experience will be preferred.

Salary (Supreme Court) : 55K to 75K based  on merit and experience of Candidates

Salary (High Courts) : 45K to 65K based on merit and experience of Candidates
