The Delhi High Court will hear today CBI's plea challenging the trial court's order discharging all accused in the liquor policy case, including AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.
A bench of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma will hear the matter. Last week, while issuing notice on the CBI's revision petition, Justice Sharma had observed that some of the observations of the trial court were prima facie erroneous.
Later, Kejriwal wrote of the High Court Chief Justice seeking that the matter be shifted to another bench, raising apprehensions of bias on the part of Justice Sharma. After the High Court rejected his request yesterday, Kejriwal filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court to transfer CBI's petition from Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma.

Court dictates order: List after two weeks. The replies be filed within two weeks.
Mehta: The order is perverse.
Just because it is not in your favour, the order becomes perverse: Hariharan
Mehta: This is matter where there are different aspects apart from legal aspects. Replies won’t be necessary because we need to read the order impugned and the records. We seriously object to the order. It cannot remain on record even for a second more than what is necessary.
