In light of the overwhelming response, the Supreme Court Bar Association(SCBA) has extended its date for the National Survey of women advocates to February 15.

The survey intends to document the lived experience of women advocates and to contribute towards building a more inclusive, equitable and representative legal community.

Women advocates are requested to extend their participation in the survey, the findings of which will be analysed and presented at the National Level Conference, tentatively scheduled for the third week of March.

The study highlighted that nearly one-third of women lawyers have faced gender bias and discrimination, while more than half struggle to maintain work-life balance due to marital and motherhood obligations.
