Delhi Police Commissioner files a counter affidavit in the contempt petitions for alleged violations of the October 9 order of Supreme Court's order, particularly on the closure of 12 metro stations during CEC protests.
It says that the experience with CJP shows that the organisers have "completely disregarded the requirement of seeking prior permission".
Further, the protest march by Indian National Congress on October 6, 7 and 8th resulted in Delhi areas being choked, causing inconvenience to the people. The gathering was aggressive, fueled by "people adorning cover of 'freelance journalists'" who were harassing policemen, and particularly most harassed lady police.
