About the Centre for Clinical Legal Education (CCLE)
The Centre for Clinical Legal Education (CCLE) was established in 2017 at MNLU Mumbai with the aim to discharge its social responsibility with zeal for institutionalising the mission of social justice. The lack of awareness about rights and remedies in law has led to massive manipulation and steady growth in crimes. The Centre for Clinical Legal Education aims to tackle issues that people face in different realms of life by educating them about laws and making an impact.
The university has therefore established the Centre for Clinical Legal Education in order to facilitate advanced learning of law and its incorporation into society. One of its impeccable initiatives was the POCSO awareness programme for children in shelter homes. Further, the CCLE in association with the Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai also provides Legal Aid Camps. "Right to Know Day" was also celebrated in association with PCGT to educate individuals and create awareness about RTI.
