Khaitan & Co Advises India Resurgence Fund On Acquisition Of Majority Stake In Fine Edge Engineering
Khaitan & Co has advised India Resurgence Fund (IndiaRF) on its acquisition of a significant majority stake in Fine Edge Engineering Private Limited, which houses the precision machined castings business of the Ashok Iron Works Group.
The transaction was led by Partner Kartick Maheshwari, Partner Shantanu Gupta, Principal Associate Debottam Chattopadhyay, Principal Associate Ifrazunnisa Khan, Senior Associate Shruti Jaju and Associate Chaitanya Kishore Sunkara.
The transaction also involved the firm's teams across various practice areas, including corporate, real estate, competition law, litigation, employment, data privacy, intellectual property and energy.
The ancillary corporate matters and closing assistance team comprised Partners Aishwarya Nagpal and Ashutosh Sharma, Senior Associates Madhav Chandan, Hardik Adlakha, Poojita Saxena and Radhika Goenka.
The Real Estate team included Partner Sudheer Madamaiah, Counsel Kartik Shiv Kumar and Associate Shambhavi Kashyap.
The Competition Law team comprised Partner Anisha Chand, Counsel Soham Banerjee and Senior Associate Yatharth V Singh. The Litigation team included Partners Sanjeev K Kapoor and Sneha Janakiraman, Principal Associate Saloni Gupta and Senior Associate Yashwant Gaggar.
