Sarvaank Associates, a corporate and transactional law firm, has announced the launch of its dedicated Dispute Resolution, Regulatory and Enforcement Practice. To establish this new vertical, the firm has entered into an integration with Capstone Legal, a litigation chamber. The initiative aims to offer companies and investors an integrated legal service across their business lifecycle, combining corporate advisory with dispute resolution expertise.

Sarvaank has advised entrepreneurs, companies and investors on investment transactions, due diligence, transaction structuring, corporate and commercial matters, and regulatory requirements. The new practice will bring this transactional and business-oriented perspective together with expertise in litigation, arbitration and strategic dispute resolution, enabling clients to approach contentious matters with a deeper understanding of the underlying commercial context.

This practice will be led by Practice Co-Heads Vagish Kumar Singh and Ashish Kumar Singh.

Vagish, an NLSIU gold medallist, regularly represents clients before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in complex commercial, regulatory and enforcement matters. Ashish, an NLSIU alumnus and a barrister called to the Bar of England and Wales, has appeared in numerous matters before various courts, including the Supreme Court of India. His specialised experience spans commercial disputes, arbitration, banking and finance, insolvency, regulatory matters and white-collar crime. Ashish has also been appointed amicus curiae by High Courts in several cases.

The Practice Co-Heads have handled more than 1,200 matters and secured multiple judgments described as precedent-setting.

Commenting on the integration, Vagish Kumar Singh, Practice Co-Head, said:

“Capstone Legal has always prided itself on delivering sophisticated, battle-tested dispute resolution. Anchoring this new practice at Sarvaank is a strategic alignment of our core litigation strengths with its robust transactional foresight. This integration ensures that businesses and investors can access strong dispute resolution engine, allowing them to navigate complex regulatory and contentious matters with absolute confidence.”

Ankita Singh, Managing Partner at Sarvaank Associates, stated:

“We have always viewed our role as being a long-term legal partner to our clients rather than simply advising on individual matters. A business does not separate its transactions from its disputes, and we wanted our capabilities to reflect that reality. This association is a natural evolution for Sarvaank and will allow us to bring together our understanding of businesses and investments with strong disputes and litigation expertise. We are particularly excited about the experience and perspective that Vagish and Ashish bring to this new practice.”

The association is expected to strengthen Sarvaank's ability to support companies and investors throughout the business lifecycle, from transaction structuring and risk identification to dispute prevention, litigation, arbitration and enforcement, while retaining its focus on practical, commercially aligned legal advice.
