The School of Law Trial Advocacy Competition (STAC) is designed to promote advanced understanding and practical engagement with criminal law. The event provides a rigorous academic and competitive platform for law students across the country to develop advocacy skills, procedural proficiency, and analytical depth in the field of criminal litigation.

SCC Online and Manupatra are proud collaborators for STAC, serving as the Media Partner and Knowledge Partner respectively. Their association significantly strengthens the academic and professional framework of the competition by ensuring wide outreach, authoritative legal research support, and enhanced learning opportunities for participants.

Over the years, STAC has established itself as a respected forum that encourages participants to critically engage with contemporary criminal law issues while applying substantive and procedural principles to complex factual scenarios. The structure of the competition is carefully curated to assess participants on multiple dimensions, including legal reasoning, courtroom advocacy, and strategic application of law.

STAC 2026 will feature structured rounds aimed at testing both theoretical knowledge and practical aptitude, ensuring a holistic evaluation of participants. The event will be judged by esteemed members of the judiciary, legal practitioners, and academicians, whose insights and expertise significantly enhance the learning experience.

Through STAC 2026, the Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee continues its commitment to fostering excellence in criminal law education and nurturing the next generation of skilled, ethical, and socially conscious legal professionals.
