Online Internship Opportunities At Lexlife India: Apply By May 28

LexLife India is a young and energetic conglomerate of legal experts. Its blog seeks to present a legal analysis of government policies and events of national importance in simple language which can be understood by the general Indian population from legal as well as non-legal background. It also offers professional certificate courses to help students improve their understanding of niche areas of law. LexLife India is seeking interns under the following heads.

Legal research and content writing (LexLife India blog)

Number of interns required: 6 (six)

You are expected to work from home. You will be allotted one topic at a time from current affairs along with writing guidelines.

You will be expected to submit the article (up to 2000 words) in a specified time-frame which shall be to the tune of five to seven days. After submission, you will be allotted your next topic.

One topic will be assigned to a small group of interns. Out of these, the best article will be published on LexLife India's blog along with the author's name.

Eligibility criteria

The following persons are eligible:

  •  Undergraduate and postgraduate students of Law.
  • Students pursuing PhD programme in Law.
  •  Advocates.

Duration

Interns are required for a period of four weeks in the month of June 2020. The internship can be extended for another four weeks based on the intern's performance. Good performers will also be considered for Editorial internship.

Perks

  • Digital 'Internship Certificate' for all selected candidates.
  • A prestigious 'Certificate of Publication' for all interns whose articles (at least 1) will be published on our website.
  •  There is no monetary stipend attached with this internship.
  • Due credit will be awarded for articles published on the website.
  • Interns, on excellent performance, will be considered for paid Editorial internship.

Research and Development (LexLife India courses)

Number of interns required: 6 (six)

The interns are expected to work from home. They will be assisting LexLife India in legal research and shall work towards updating reading material of courses from time to time.

The interns will be allotted topics and sub-topics to conduct research in a specified time-frame. They will also be given modules for the analysis of its content and updating of facts if so required.

Eligibility criteria

The following persons are eligible:

  • Postgraduate students of Law.
  • Students pursuing PhD programme in Law.
  • Advocates.

Kindly note: Applications from undergraduate students will not be considered for this internship.

Duration

Interns shall be hired for a period of 4 weeks, subject to extension based on performance. The internship shall start immediately on selection, or on the nearest date proposed by the candidate.

Perks

 'Internship Certificate' for all selected candidates.

 Stipend of up to Rs. 2,500/- per month (based on performance).

 Interns, on excellent performance, will be considered for paid Editorial internship.

Writing sample can be any content written by you in the past. There is no prescribed word count for it. College assignments prepared by you will also suffice.

The subject of the email should be "LR&CW Internship: June 2020" for "legal research and content writing" internship and "R&D Internship" for "research and development" internship.
