About Us
The National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) was established by the Government of Assam through the enactment of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009 (Assam Act No. XXV of 2009). NLUJAA promotes and provides modern legal education and research facilities to its students, scholars, and faculty drawn from across the country, including the North-East, representing diverse socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds.
About The Moot
Vox Anatolis, or “The Voice of the East”, organised by NLUJAA, uniquely focuses on legal issues pertinent to Northeast India. The subject matter of the competition is dedicated to drawing attention to the rich and complex issues of the Northeast, ensuring that the region's unique perspectives are represented in broader legal discourse. By concentrating on pressing legal questions specific to this part of India, the competition not only fills a significant gap in the moot court circuit but also provides participants with an unparalleled opportunity to engage with matters of critical regional importance.
